Kutoa is building a culinary bridge between the delicious flavours of West-Africa and every “eat and drink” event. The Kutoa brand identity draws inspiration from the vibrant world of West African flavors, colors, and textures, aiming to evoke the spirit of a lively gathering among friends, centered around authentic African snacks with a unique twist.
The wordmark prominently features the genuine movements and textures reminiscent of the various stages involved in crafting Kutoa's authentic snacks. Additionally, the brand identity incorporates a set of six distinct illustrations, each carrying a special significance for the brand. These illustrations are derived from the Adinkra symbols originating from West Africa. Historically, these symbols were associated with the Asante (or Ashanti) people, who utilized them in textile printing, as well as on pottery and metalwork.
